Working with and teaching stained glass is a passion of mine!
The name, Liberty Belle Glassworks, comes from my love for
our amazing Nation and the strength that "Lady Liberty"
represents.

This was reinforced when I had the honor of visiting the
National
Liberty Museum in Philadelphia where glass artists have
represented both the fragility and strength of liberty in their
magnificent glass creations.

My dream is to share my love for working with stained glass and
demonstrate to other glass lovers how to produce and/or
recognize quality glass pieces.  For those who wish to purchase
custom work, I would like to share a bit of information.

Finished stained glass pieces sold in quantity, such as in
furniture stores, discount stores, large chain pharmacies, etc.,
are generally mass produced in third world countries.  The art
and originality of this craft is lost in the factories and back-alley
sweat shops.  The workers, often quite young and paid mere
pennies a day, are exposed to lead and chemicals with little to
no protection.

If you've never considered why finished stained glass pieces
can be sold so cheaply, now you know and hopefully will be
discouraged from supporting this damaging practice.

On the contrary, finished pieces, both custom and
commissioned,  sold from Liberty Belle Glassworks are all
created by glass artists living in the United States - usually local
to our area.  Creativity, love for the craft, safety, and pride are
represented in the work.  Each piece is signed and dated which
assures the owner that it will forever represent quality and
craftsmanship and is destined to become an heirloom to be
lovingly cherished.

If you've come to visit us already, thank you for your patronage.
If you're looking for a friendly, comfortable, competitively priced
stained glass store to do business with, we hope you'll give us a
try.

Hope to see you soon!
